Dear Parents,
We began our week by painting with straws. We used straws and our lungs to blow paint across paper. Some children blew with all their might, some blew with little puffs, and two children decided not to blow at all. Someone said, “This is fun!”
On Tuesday we used marbles to paint. Everyone got a tray with paper, paint, and a marble inside. We moved the tray side to side, trying to not lose our marbles. Many marbles were lost while colorful pictures were made. They are hanging by the cubbies.
One day when outside with the blooming flowers, two children yelled repeatedly at the top of their lungs, “It’s officially Spring!” “It’s officially Spring!”
Our last gymnastics class with Larisa was splendid. The children told us what they liked about the class: the phone pit, forward roll, handstands, balance beams, log rolls, tumbling, the cones, the mats, electric air guitar, cartwheels, tiger tail, and jumping jacks.
On Friday we saw that our tree had buds, but only a few were beginning to bloom. We decided to wait and take our Spring picture next week.
As always, it’s a pleasure to get to talk to all of you about your lovely offspring. Thank you for letting us spend time with them!
Have a spring weekend,
Therese
